Do I Need Dentures?

A denture is an ideal solution for filling gaps resulting from missing teeth and is commonly used to replace them.

  • The restoration of a significant number of missing teeth gaps.
  • Patients who prefer a removable option for replacing their missing teeth.
  • Patients who are unable to undergo dental implant procedures, such as those with certain medical conditions or insufficient jaw bone levels, for instance.
  • Patients who cannot receive a dental bridge, such as those with unstable supporting teeth.
  • Providing temporary tooth replacement during the interim stage while waiting for your tissues to heal and preparing for a bridge or dental implant. This is sometimes necessary in certain cases, such as after tooth extraction.

Instead of leaving gaps from missing teeth as they are, dentures can restore your smile to a natural appearance, improve your ability to eat comfortably, address any speech difficulties caused by tooth loss, and minimize jaw bone loss.

Treatment Procedure

Regain your smile’s function and beauty with our custom denture treatment. Our experts ensure comfortable fitting and a natural look, guiding you from consultation to final fitting. Enjoy improved oral function and confidence with our comprehensive solution.

During your denture consultation, your dentist will discuss your concerns, conduct a comprehensive examination of your teeth, and may take X-rays, perform pulp tests, intraoral scans, or create mouth impressions as needed. You will be informed about the suitability of dentures or other treatment options for your specific situation. If a denture is determined to be the appropriate choice, the different types of dentures will be discussed and selected based on your condition and expectations.

The number of visits required to create your final denture will vary based on its complexity. During these visits, progressive measurements of your mouth will be taken in collaboration with our dental laboratory. Each stage and appointment will typically last between 15 to 30 minutes. Since these measurements are primarily superficial, the use of local anesthesia is usually unnecessary

After the fitting of your denture, you will be given guidance on how to properly care for your mouth and new denture.
