Sinus Lift Surgery

What is sinus lifting ?

Sinus lifting is a surgical procedure done to increase the bone volume at the area of the maxillary sinus so that we have enough bone to place an implant . Some bone grafting materials will be placed at the space where the sinus membrane is lifted . In some cases , the implant can be placed simultaneously . The bone graft will mature and your own bone will form at that area , usually takes about 3-6 months depending on the type of bone graft .
